final update 1

pitch: new commercial for my show Movie Junkies spoofing the style of Robert Rodriguez (sin city, the spirit).
i have a general concept of what i would like to do with the black and white/gray scale wash with bright bits of red or yellow. this would be green screened and later fade out of that to reveal the process to the viewer as someone critics the style and then fade back into the color wash thing.

everything is keyed and green screened. the people with green screen and the fires with a chroma key, they were shot on a black background, i still need to put in the audio, but until then enjoy the image of some of my friends in hell.

here is the motion tracking, there is a radial blur and a glow effect on the halo, the clip and halo are 3-d layers so that the halo can dip behind his head at the end.

3-d project, a room with tiling created in PS constructed in AE all mostion is AE exported to FCP for video filters to give old look.

here is the new intro for this episode of movie junkies. the heart and logo were made in photo shop. the movements are graphed to move slow then fast or fast then slow for the logo and hearts respectively. the particle generator uses on of the heart images with a color tweak.

this is not the finished product, just something to turn in before class. i still need to put in the explosion of hearts like confetti. once that is done, i will overlay the composition on the footage from the show and use it as an intro for this episode and a shorter version for intro and outro bumpers

this is just pen on paper, scanned into photoshop, and imported into AE. each body part is it's own layer and parented to another. the other stuff is just other stuff...enjoy that part. It's a simple walk cycle with a little parallax.
